How Aviator Works
Aviator auto cashout: how to set it and what it really does
Auto cashout is the most useful control in Aviator and the most misunderstood. It is not an advantage feature and it is not a strategy — it is a way of guaranteeing that the exit you planned actually happens, even if your data connection stutters or your nerve does. On a mobile network in Zimbabwe, that is worth more than it sounds.
What it does
You enter a target multiplier — say 1.85x — before the round. When the multiplier reaches that value, the game closes your bet automatically at that number. You do not need to be watching, tapping, or even on a stable connection at that instant.
If the round ends below your target, the bet loses exactly as a manual bet would. Auto cashout does not protect the stake; it only guarantees the exit if the exit is reached.
Why it matters more on mobile
Manual cashout depends on a tap reaching the server in time. A momentary lag on a mobile data connection — half a second is plenty — can mean the round ends before your instruction lands. That is not the operator cheating; it is the physics of a fast game over a variable network.
Auto cashout registers your target with the round in advance, so a network hiccup at the wrong moment no longer costs you a won round. If you play on mobile data, this alone is a reason to use it by default.
Setting it up
- Open the bet panel and find the auto-cashout toggle or field (sometimes on an 'Auto' tab).
- Enter your target, e.g. 1.80. Some clients require a value above 1.01x.
- Enable it, then place your stake as normal.
- Check it is still active after you change stake — some interfaces reset the toggle.
- If you also enable auto bet, the game will keep staking round after round. Only use that with a stake you would repeat a hundred times without thinking about it.
Choosing a target
There is no optimal number: every target carries the same roughly 3% expected shortfall. The choice is about how you want the ride to feel and how much balance you have to absorb losing streaks.
Low targets around 1.30x–1.60x land often and pay little, so a single miss erases several hits. Mid targets around 1.80x–2.50x are what most regular players settle on. Anything above 10x means long droughts that only very small stakes survive.
Whatever you pick, pick it before the round and leave it. The value of automation disappears the moment you start editing the number mid-session because the last few rounds went badly.
Two panels, two targets
Aviator allows two bets per round, each with its own auto cashout. A common arrangement is a larger bet exiting early to bank something regularly, and a smaller one left to run at a higher target.
Remember this doubles the money in play per round. If you switch from one bet to two, halve each stake rather than keeping the same amount on both.
What auto cashout cannot do
- It cannot improve your odds or the RTP. Automation is execution, not edge.
- It cannot guarantee a profitable session. Losing runs happen at every target.
- It cannot rescue a stake when the round ends below your target.
- It is not a predictor. Nothing in the game or outside it knows the crash point in advance.
Using it as a discipline tool
The most valuable way to use auto cashout is as a commitment device. Decide your target, your stake, your loss limit and your session length while you are calm, set the target, and let the game execute it.
Pair it with a hard stop: a number of rounds, or a loss figure, after which you close the game regardless of what the results strip shows. Automation plus a stop point is as close as Aviator gets to a sensible plan.
Frequently asked questions
Does auto cashout increase my chances of winning?
No. It guarantees your exit if the multiplier reaches your target, which protects against lag and hesitation, but the odds and house edge are unchanged.
What is a good auto cashout value?
There is no mathematically best value. Most regular players use something between 1.50x and 2.50x because it balances frequency against return.
Can I use auto cashout on both bets?
Yes, each of the two bet panels has its own auto-cashout target.
